A brand new Radio 4 dramatisation of a classic Agatha Christie mystery. Lady Tresselian invites several guests to stay at her seaside house at Gulls Point. Against her better judgment she has allowed handsome tennis ace Neville Strange and his wife Kay, to come at the same time as Nevilles ex wife Audrey. Neville is the ward of Lady Tresselians late husband. Other guests include Mary, Lady Tresselians companion Ted, Kays ever present friend Thomas, a family friend who has just returned from spending the war in Africa, and Lady Tresselians old friend Lord Justice Treves. When Mr. Treves dies suddenly, and Lady Tresselian is murdered in her bed, the house party is thrown into turmoil. It is left to Scotland Yards Detective Inspector Leach and Mr. Macwhirter, an ex detective who happens to be another house guest, to solve the case.
