A Little Bit of Lippy is a fruity, cross dressing comedy set in the north of England. Marian Alison Swann and Rick Danny Cunningham are a working class couple whose marriage has gone stale. In search of some sexual oomph, Marian surprises Rick one night in her scanties. Problem is, he's gotten to the make up box before her. Directed by Chris Bernard, A Little Bit of Lippy is a terrific, stylish blend of surreal cinematography and absurdist Mike Leigh style observation.
